Welcome to Female in Focus, an annual exhibition recognizing women’s extraordinary contributions to contemporary photography.

In Between is an intimate invitation, formed from the relationship between the artists’ stories, the materiality of memories, the audience, and this unique home gallery—a space committed to being both private and public and goes beyond the traditional gallery setting.

Composed of ethereal, narrative-based video projections and prints by Alma Sinai, the three sections of this series are in dialogue through repetition, loops, patterns, and ultimately the notion of a trap.

THE TRIFECTA comprises three photo essays: “family ties” by Fabian Palencia, “STEEL & VELVET” by Dominique Beaumont, and “Guyana Sweet” by Kenyatta Meadows.

This project explores the trace of time in the landscape and the relationship between identity  and territory. This urban photography project uses frontal shots to redesign the context of each  image.

In collaboration with the Curatorial Agency, we proudly present silence/d—a spatial essay. Curated by Sanam Samanian, the show references recent works by three emerging artists from diasporic communities: Salva Modarres, Brian W. Fraser, and Ali Motamedi. The juxtaposition visually depicts the intricacies of silence, exhibiting both its merits and perils in our contemporary culture.

The Bridge and Tunnel Gallery is proud to present a group exhibition of recent works by Jessica Segall, Brian Zegeer, Katayoun Vaziri, Eric Ramos Guerrero, and Ashkan Behzadi in collaboration with the Curatorial Agency.

The Bridge & Tunnel Gallery is proud to present a solo exhibition of recent works by Jameel Newkirk, titled “View from the Stoops, a Love Story!”. The show is about everyday moments of life in Brooklyn. It will open on Saturday, April 2, 2022, featuring live music from local DJ Jahmed Kinsey.

Dancing for one’s own pleasure is one of the most gleeful expressions of happiness. It opens up the heart and connects us to our innermost self. Similarly, an artist’s process induces a state of euphoria in them. When engrossed in their work, they dance, as if bearing witness to creation.
