New York, London, and San Francisco unite in a groundbreaking collaboration for the “We Are One #iran Short Film Festival.” This international event highlights Iran’s Woman, Life, Freedom movement, spotlighting the ongoing advocacy for women’s rights.

Join us for an inspiring evening at The New School’s Kellen Auditorium as the New York chapter of the “We Are One #Iran Short Film Festival” unfolds. In an unprecedented partnership, The Bridge and Tunnel joins forces with The New School’s New University in Exile Consortium to showcase a curated selection of 7-10 short films by female Iranian filmmakers. The screening will be complemented by an insightful panel discussion with film experts, echoing the voices of Iranian women in their quest for equality and rights as depicted through the powerful medium of film.

We at The Bridge & Tunnel are thrilled to collaborate with Voices Unbound to bring you an exclusive, private screening of the groundbreaking documentary A Revolution on Canvas. This special event is set for December 6th at 5:00 PM EST at the renowned Cinema Village, New York.

Join us for a cinematic journey with Revolution on Canvas, a profound exploration by Sara Nodjoumi and co-director Till Schauder. This hybrid political thriller and verité portrait delves deep into the enigma of over 100 “treasonous” paintings by the iconic Iranian artist Nickzad “Nicky” Nodjoumi. It’s a personal story, a directorial debut that promises to leave you spellbound.

THE TRIFECTA comprises three photo essays: “family ties” by Fabian Palencia, “STEEL & VELVET” by Dominique Beaumont, and “Guyana Sweet” by Kenyatta Meadows. The three photojournalists explore and document the planet of Brooklyn, the five boroughs of NYC and Georgetown, Linden and Parika Guyana.

Open juxtaposes details of two places supposedly at odds with one another, creating a dialogue between them  and reopening these overlooked spaces to the public.
